Workshops

During this class, tufters will:

• Transfer a prepared image onto their fabric with the use of a projector
• Receive an overview of machine tufting and techniques
• Begin tufting practice and then working on their rugs
• Receive individual feedback and hands on help
• Receive an overview of finishing for wall-hanging or floor rug including pile leveling and backing
• Quick-finish their rug to hang or admire from the floor
• Leave with an experience and a quick-finished 24 in. rug

During this class, tufters will:

• Select an image of their choice to send the studio
• Receive an overview of the projection transfer process
• Begin to transfer to their selected image to the fabric
• Receive individual feedback and hands on help
• Receive an overview of machine tufting and techniques
• Begin tufting practice and then working on their rugs
• Receive 1 on 1 global and individual feedback and hands on help
• Receive an overview of finishing for wall-hanging or floor rug
• Back and finish their rug
• Receive an overview of detail hand carving and leveling
• Hand carve and level rug pile
• Leave with an experience and a pro-finished 36” rug

• Receive an overview of needle punching and techniques
• Begin punching practice and then working on their projects
• Receive 1 on 1 global and individual feedback and hands on help
• Receive an overview of finishing for their piece
• Leave with an experience and a finished piece inside a hoop to hang
